This morning, Ayaka presented us with many wonderful gifts.

The kids had so much fun!

Later that evening, we had a fun "welcome party" hosted by the students'
teacher's son and his wife. Ayaka had fun taking pictures of the kids
playing.

Playing Tether Ball
(I think that's what it is called...)

Introductions and Blessings

All 7 of the host families gathered to get to know each other better.

Enjoying a wonderful potluck dinner...
Kira LOVED being at the "big girls" table.

Before we left, the students each introduced themselves and told about their
hobbies in English.

We enjoyed hearing them.

Many gathered to listen.

Ayaka told us her favorite hobby is the abacus.

These two students names are both Karen. However, the pronounce it Car-in,
just like I do! I guess the Japanese and Norwegians have something in
common! We all pronounce it the same way!

Unfortunately, Jason couldn't make it to the gathering, so he isn't in the
picture. But, we all had a fantastic time!

Tomorrow, we go to Disney World!
