On March 26th, Mom and I had a "Uff Da Day" afternoon at my house to teach the
members of our Keepers / American Girl Club about the different foods that
Scandinavian immigrants such as Kirsten might have eaten. We had them make
lefse and krumkake as well as sample rommegrot and krunsekake.
Here I am demonstrating how to roll out lefse.

After the "teaching" portion, the girls got to make it!








And of course, they got to eat what they made too.

About 20 girls attended plus 6 mothers. It was a fantastic, fun afternoon!
