This year we are going to be studying immigrants and pioneers to the United States
and reading the Kirsten American Girl series of books.
Kirsten is the Swedish immigrant that moves to a farm in Minnesota!

I was dressed as a prairie woman to MC the evening.

Some of the girls helped me set up the buffet table.
