OK - there's a story here.
I wasn't going to have a garter toss at my wedding.  However, my wonderful little cousin Jared thought I should.
(Remember, he was barely a teenager back then!) <smile> 
So when we were in the tux shop over 12 years ago, he walked me to the garter wall and picked out the one I should wear for my wedding.  It was such a sweet moment and one I will always treasure.  So, yes, when it came to the "garter moment" at his wedding, big cousin Karin got a little lumpy throated.
