After getting home at 1:30 am that morning from our trip up north, I gave the
kids some grace and let them sleep in. School didn't start until 11 am
that morning.
Siri is now in Kindergarten and Kira is in 2nd grade.

Jase's first day of preschool!
He got special cereal to celebrate his first day - Apple Jacks!

Wrapping gifts for the teachers.

Big boy all ready to go to his first day of preschool!

My little boy...

...heading off to school.

Here we are!

Since we missed the "meet the teacher" meeting due to our trip up north, we came
first and Jase got to spend a few minutes being introduced to his teachers and
getting used to the room.
Here he is "checking in" with his polar bear.

Mrs. Tammy shows him where to put his lunchbox.

Mrs. Valerie shows him a special puzzle.

I looked up at the August cake and realized Mrs. Valerie's birthday was the day
before!

Half an hour before school was over, I brought in cupcakes to let the class
celebrate Mrs. Valerie's birthday.

Jase was the line caboose for his first week.

Mrs. Nicole works at the preschool too!
(But we still call her Aunt Nicole.)

Jase is in the Polar Bears class.

We brought a little something for the birthday girl.
August means sunflowers to this farm girl. (meaning Mommy)

And thankfully, Mrs. Darcie is still there! But instead of being a
teacher, this year she is the preschool director! She is the best!

Since we missed the "meet the teacher" we were behind doing our "all about me"
poster. So, with all three kids helping, we came home and got Jase's
poster put together.

Here is how the final product looked.

We actually missed the whole first week of school. Jase started during the
second week. The second week theme was "all about me" so we had to do this
poster for the class as well. Mommy cut out the clothes. The girls
did the coloring of the letters, and Jase told me what sort of things he liked
and wanted to include on the poster. He put on the stickers and the
pictures.
