Last day of Classical Conversations for this school year
During morning assembly Mrs. Reynolds brought the nursery class in to do a
little presentation. Jase did a great job!

Happy little musician

The kids did orienteering for Science.
Thanks to Tina Otto for running in to the nursery (where I was working) and
asking to borrow my camera. Bless you!

As I said, it was my turn to work in the nursery this day.

Jase was one of the more participatory students.

Mrs. Reynolds and her boundless energy and enthusiasm!
We learned this day that she's been teaching preschool or Kindergarten since she
was 16 and she is now 75!

Our Family

Kira and Daddy

Grandma and Papa came to see the end of the year program as well.

OK, so Jase was a little tired...

Our AMAZING, outstanding, inspirational director, Mrs. Ruthie Delk. We are
so blessed.

Siri and her class led by the incomparable, brilliant, phenomenal, and ABCD
(above and beyond the call of duty) Mrs. Janet Richards.

Singing the mountain song written by Mrs. Richards to help the children remember
the tallest mountains on each continent.

Kira's class

They recited the first five weeks (40) timeline cards
and sang two of the history sentences.

Kira and her certificate

This was the other 1st and 2nd grade class. I feel a special bond and
connection to them because 5 of these students are in my Public Speaking co-op
class that I teach on Tuesdays a month.
Believe it or not, their tutor had them talk about different components of
Public Speaking. I was so thrilled and proud of them that my buttons could
have burst!

Presenting Mrs. Delk with a new vacuum cleaner.
She really wanted one!

The Memory Masters

The graduates from the Foundations / Essentials program who will start the
Challenge program next year.
(Translation - they are basically done with elementary school and heading into
middle school.)

Mrs. Delk warmly praises Jack Richards for his outstanding servant leadership
during the school year. He is an amazing guy.
