At the Farm
Wednesday night, August 25th, after the Cobber Corn Feed, we drove to the Dahl
Farm in North Dakota.
Siri LOVED eating the raspberries!

Jase loved riding on the little pedal tractor.

Papa bought Kira a bike so she could show him her new riding skills.

And of course, we had to get out the little tractor for all the kids again.
That thing still runs perfectly after all these years.
For those of you who don't know, Karin's Grandpa Dahl built this by hand for her
Dad when he turned 3 years old. That means it's over 60 years old and
still thrilling kids!

Siri found some dresses Grandma saved from when Mommy was a little girl.
She had SO MUCH FUN playing dress up!

This is the saddest picture I took during the entire trip.
It's a big tree on my Grandma and Grandpa Dahl's farm.
It used to be so big and lush that Grandma could put a whole picnic blanket
under the boughs and we had a "fort" underneath it where we could be completely
hidden. We ate lots of cheese curls and peanut butter sandwiches with
chocolate milk under this tree. It's one of my favorite childhood places
and the memories we created there...
well, they are precious to me.
