Monday, November 14th. The kids needed a day of school, so they stayed
with Grandma and Papa while I drove down to Disney and spent a wonderful day
with Jim and Randy Weiss at Disney's Animal Kingdom. They had never been
there before and it was a delight to introduce them to the wonders of the Animal
Kingdom for the very first time. What a joy!

Thankfully, there were lots of animals out for our viewing pleasure.

What fun!

In the many, many, many, many times I have been on this safari, I have only seen
the lions out and moving THREE times. This happened to be one of them.
What a sight!

I was SO excited to take this picture!

More animals...

Randy and Jim in the aviary.

Watching a hippo swim laps.

Seriously, this was quite fun and comical to see this large hippo swimming laps
and come right in front of us at the glass FOUR different times! WOW!

Watching the 20 month old baby Gorilla playing with it's Mommy.

Such a lush landscape and gloriously beautiful day!

Majestic Tigers

OK - that's one big kitty just asking for a belly rub!

This antelope just seemed to be posing for us.
