The Dewey Family at Disney's Vero Beach Resort

We were joined by our friends, Nicole McGraw and Tim Garner.
The soon-to-be Mrs. and Mrs. Tim Garner.

Nicole and Tim are moving down to Florida and stayed with us for a week while they house hunted and found an apartment.  We decided they needed to see a little bit of the beach and ocean too, so we invited them out to spend a day with us!

After I made the first initial "towers", everyone joined me in making our 2010 sand castle.

Nicole decided I should have my hands free, so she grabbed the camera so I could go back to the construction work.

Building a home, building a life, building a love...
...oh yeah, and building a sand castle.

I thought it looked pretty good even though our seaweed decorations wouldn't stay on the top.  Too windy.

Daddy was determined to fill up the moat with water.

He kept trying...

...and trying with help

...and trying some more, but no luck.

Because it was Memorial Day, there was a DJ.
The music was good, so Tim and Nicole started dancing.

Back to the happy couple...

They learned quickly what it was like to have "joiners."
